Each year, the Washington Football Team hosts gatherings at FedEx Field for those who have served in the United States military. They also hold enlistment ceremonies and other events for individuals who are joining the armed forces or who are currently serving our country. In 2016, the franchise partnered with the Gary Sinise Foundation to help build a new home for a veteran who was injured in combat.

Snyder helped contribute to relief efforts in Indonesia and Thailand after a tsunami struck those areas in 2004. In March 2020, Snyder donated $100,000 to a local foodbank to ensure that individuals and families in need would have enough to eat. Furthermore, he created a COVID-19 testing site at the team’s stadium to ensure that residents of Prince George County would be able to be diagnosed in a timely manner.
